My journey towards freedom has been a quest that's defined my past 14 years. Ever since I became a mother, my drive to be more, do more, and achieve more has been fueled by a purpose beyond myself.
It hasn't been an easy journey, and I'm not there yet. But to know when I've reached my destination, I've had to define exactly what freedom means to me. For me, freedom means crossing a metaphoric line in the sand into a landscape where I no longer lose any time, thought, or energy worrying about money.
The constant thoughts plaguing me—are we financially secure enough to live comfortably? Will we have enough for the future, for retirement? What happens if I stop working? The fear behind these questions keeps me moving forward, never standing still for too long and continuously trying things that will align with my mission and wants.
I'll know I've achieved my freedom when I have a consistent, predictable, and repeatable business sales engine that delivers the income I want every month, working no more than 20 hrs of quality, intentional, and purposeful working hours per week so that my family and I are making memories and living the happiest we can be - in good health. That means I need to build a business that operates autonomously with the help of others and the internet and invest wisely to secure the future for myself and my family.
